The Town of Leakesville, Mississippi will be accepting electronic or sealed bids for the following project:

LAFAYETTE AVENUE BOX CULVERT

The project includes construction of a concrete box bridge, placement of geotextile and rock rip­ rap and installation of vegetive cover and other erosion control items.

Project Plans, Contract Documents, and Specifications may be examined in the office of the Town Clerk at Leakesville Town Hall, 301-A Lafayette Avenue, Leakesville, Mississippi, at the office of the Design Engineer, Overstreet and Associates PLLC, 161 Lameuse Street, Suite 203, Biloxi, Mississippi, or online at www.overstreetengplans.com.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder’s name, address, date and time of the bid opening, and the words “LAFAYETTE AVENUE BOX CULVERT” written on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. The Bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number shall be written on the exterior of the envelope. Absence of the Bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number on the exterior of the envelope will cause the declared bid to not be opened or considered.

Electronic or sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Town Clerk of Town of Leakesville, Mississippi and publicly opened at 1:00 P.M. (local time) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in the Town Hall Board Room. Bids may be mailed to 301-A Lafayette Avenue, Leakesville, Mississippi 39451 or hand delivered to Town Hall at 301-A Lafayette Avenue, Leakesville, Mississippi 39451.

The project is funded by the Town of Leakesville. The successful bidder must comply with all federal, state and local requirements contained in the Contract Documents, as identified in the bid proposal packet.

The Town of Leakesville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. Bids may be held by the Town of Leakesville for the purpose of review for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.
