1322 Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve Sewer Improvements & Wastewater Treatment Plant #19198

Sealed bids will be received by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians Public Works Department located in the Facilities Building at 466 Martin Road, Atmore Alabama until 10:00 a.m., on December 1, 2025, and at that time publicly opened for constructing the following:

MAGNOLIA BRANCH WILDLIFE RESERVE
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

The work generally consists of the following:

Installation of approximately 6600 linear feet of sanitary sewer and a wastewater treatment package plant at the Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve; installation of approximately 17 manholes for the associated wastewater system improvements; and, associated work.

The entire project shall be completed in ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) calendar days.

A cashier’s check (drawn on an Alabama bank) or bid bond for 5% of the amount bid (maximum - $50,000.00) and made payable to Poarch Band of Creek Indians must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith. It is not required that a contractor be licensed in order to submit a bid; however, prior to award of a contract, proper proof of all applicable licensures must be provided by the contractor. Proof of insurance coverages of the types and amounts as set forth in the project specifications will be required of the contractor, and any and all subcontractors, prior to beginning work. The contractor will be required to perform work amounting to at least 30% of the total contract cost with his own organization. Contractor prequalification is not required to bid on this project.

No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the PBCI Facilities Building at 466 Martin Road, Atmore, Alabama, 36502 at 1:00 p.m., on November 20, 2025.

Indian preference shall be offered to certified businesses in accordance with Titles 33 and 37 of the Tribal Code of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.

The right to reject any or all bids and to disregard any minor irregularities is reserved by the owner.
